“The resort is close to outdoor activities which is handy for kids. But I wouldn't call this hotel a resort. It is in serious need of upgrades. It was dirty, especially the fire pit areas, pool areas, both in and out, hall carpets are awful. Housekeeping barely did anything to our room except give new towels. Didn't make the beds or clean the bathroom area. When asked if beds were going to get made up, response was "if I have time". We made the beds ourselves. So sad, at one time this used to be...

“The room was awful. Stains all over the carpet . AC not working . Bath not draining when taking a shower. They guys at reception just didn't care when raising concerns . We were supposed to stay 2 nights but we left after 1 night . Worst hotel I have ever stayed in .”

“If you book through Expedia make sure you get check in info before. Owner usually sends text with key pad code but Expedia doesn’t give them phone number or email. They do try to send message through Expedia but that didn’t work either. Not the owners fault. Expedia needs to change their system. Once I got hold of the Lodge people the person I spoke to was super helpful.”

“There is construction happening on the property for a renovation. The hotel is right by the highway and is an older property. The first room had stains on the bedding so we switched rooms and it was better. The place wasn’t terrible, just not great.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Sandman Inn in Abbotsford. The hotel offered great amenities and excellent room service that made our visit especially enjoyable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep, and the shower was outstanding with strong water pressure and hot water on demand. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we would happily stay here again.”
